About Maureen Faulkner

Maureen does not attempt to reproduce life in a photographic sense; more like a poem, loaded with meaning that the viewer plays with to find personal meaning. Visit the studio and take time to explore her work.

Experience

Self-taught as an artist, she also has a bachelor's degree in art history, a master's degree in art education, and 33 years of classroom teaching under her belt. She has created vast collections of art through university work, as a practicing teacher, or as a traveller. Most recently, Maureen has been involved with creating five of the banners made for downtown Prince George. Check these out the next time you visit our downtown core.
